BLINDO PLUS + HPC PRO Application

The Prep is the most important step of the process, make sure the surface is totally clean and free of contamination. For best results, it is essential to properly prepare the car’s surface, making sure it is clean and dry. Apply HPC PRO evenly, following the specific instructions provided in the package for drying times and application methods.

Prep:

1. Decontaminate the paint surface using Labocosmetica PRIMUS 2.0 Soap and SIDERO Iron Remover, followed by removing further embedded contamination if required with Labocosmetica LUBRIFICA and clay bar or clay mitt.

2. If swirl marks, or scratches are present, polish the paint to reduce any surface defects and create maximum gloss.

3. Use Labocosmetica VERITAS Panel Prep to remove any oils/residue left from your polishing step. If you did not polish the surface, repeat this step twice to ensure a clean surface.

BLINDO PLUS Application:

• Apply BLINDO PLUS only to small areas of the vehicle. This allows for precise control over the application and the result.
• BLINDO PLUS has no curing time and must be wiped off immediately after application. This is crucial for forming an even and effective protective layer.
• After applying BLINDO PLUS, there's no waiting time to apply HPC PRO. The two coatings can be applied immediately one after the other to maximise the protection and shine.

HPC PRO Coating Application:

• Once BLINDO PLUS has been correctly applied you can immediately begin applying HPC PRO. The seamless overlap of the layers reinforces the protective effect and improves the surface properties.
• Make sure to spread the HPC PRO Coating evenly over the areas already treated with BLINDO PLUS. This ensures comprehensive and even protection.
• Wipe off HPC PRO promptly and without waiting with 2 clean microfibre cloths

Flexibility in application:

• No waiting time between BLINDO PLUS and HPC PRO: After applying BLINDO PLUS, you can immediately begin applying HPC. There's no need to wait between coats, making the process extremely efficient.

Coating sequence options:

1. Entire vehicle first with BLINDO PLUS: You have the option of treating the entire vehicle first with BLINDO PLUS and then coating it with the HPC PRO coating. This method is particularly suitable if you want to create an even base for the entire vehicle before applying the top protective layer.

2. Component by component: Alternatively, you can work panel by panel by treating an area with BLINDO PLUS, polishing it immediately and then applying HPC PRO before moving on to the next area.

Important information for use:

• Fast curing of BLINDO PLUS: Keep in mind that BLINDO PLUS cures quickly and therefore needs to be wiped off immediately after application.
• Immediate layering with HPC: Immediate overlaying with HPC PRO after BLINDO PLUS maximises protection and improves surface properties such as beading and sheeting and reduces the risk of high spots.
• Number of applicator wipes required: Due to the rapid curing of BLINDO PLUS, plan accordingly with several applicator wipes, especially if you decide to treat the entire vehicle first.
